STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES

Technical Advisory Group (TAG)

A Technical Advisory Group (TAG) will be assembled to provide technical input on project methodology and analysis. The TAG will be comprised of local and regional transportation and planning agencies that will provide information, guidance, and advice on the technical aspects of the study.

Community Advisory Group (CAG)

A Community Advisory Group (CAG) will be comprised of civic organizations, residential groups, business organizations, neighborhood groups, and other stakeholders. The purpose of the CAG is to represent the community (i.e., residents, businesses, and system users) and facilitate the discussion of issues and opportunities from their constituents.

Stakeholder Meetings and Interviews

Study introduction and fact-finding interviews will be held in small group or one-on-one formats to fully understand the history, issues, and opportunities in the project area. These meetings will also be used to continue to identify stakeholders through recommendations from interviewees.

Surveys

Community surveys will be promoted throughout the study to help the project team better understand the related transportation and traffic problems encountered in the study area and assess prospective physical, operational, and regulatory solutions and recommendations.
